When You're Exhausted

When You’re Exhausted

Scripture:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
 — Matthew 11:28

Sometimes exhaustion isn’t just physical. You can be tired in your mind, tired in your emotions, and tired in your spirit. You keep showing up, taking care of things, helping others, meeting expectations—and eventually you realize you have nothing left to give.

God never asked you to run endlessly without rest.

Even Jesus stepped away from the crowds to pray and be alone with the Father. Rest isn’t laziness. It isn't a weakness. Rest is recognizing that you are human and God is God.

You don’t have to carry everything today. You don’t have to solve every problem. You don’t have to be strong for everyone around you.

Sometimes the most faithful thing you can do is stop, breathe, and place what is overwhelming you into God’s hands.

Prayer:
Lord, I am tired. I feel worn down from carrying so much, and I need Your strength. Help me release what I was never meant to carry. Give my body rest, my mind peace, and my spirit renewed strength. Remind me that I don’t have to do everything on my own. Help me trust You enough to slow down and receive Your rest. Amen.

Remember:
You are not failing because you are tired. You are human—and God is inviting you to rest in Him.
