In Christ by Mike Loosbrock
Good morning, Lakeside family!
As we move closer to Easter, my devotional time has been spent in prayer and study of God's word about who we are in Christ. My struggle recently has been trying to be someone I am not. My reading took me to Galatians 2:20.
“I have been crucified with Christ” - historical fact.
“It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me“ - present reality.
“The life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” - life shaping.
As I continue studying God's word and spending time in prayer, I am comfortable with not knowing why I am trying to be someone I am not because he knows me, and I am trusting in Him.
As we draw closer to Easter, I pray that the Lakeside family will be
taking a closer look at who we are in Christ.
